A hidden garden on Queen West
Coffee, pastries & a garden to get lost in.
728 Queen St W, Toronto. Step past the ivy and into a leafy little world of lattes, fresh bakes and softly glowing lanterns.

Our story
A tiny coffee bar tucked inside a leafy Toronto secret.
Cafe23 began as a love letter to slow mornings and long afternoons under strings of warm lantern light. We pull espresso by hand, bake our pastries fresh, and pour lattes worth lingering over — all inside a plant-draped garden that feels a world away from Queen West.
You'll probably meet our resident cafe cat, who mostly runs the patio and occasionally approves the specials board. Regulars know to bring a book.
